My Perfect Day

"My Perfect Day" Have you ever had one?... I did..December 4th 2007. I have waited a few days to write this so I could reflect a little bit more about my perfect day. First My son John came home from Oregon to be with me all day. It started with my radio show in the morning, John my son was my guest that day. We discussed un-wrapping your gift. Everyone has a special gift and we will discuss this issue in another blog. Then we went to Chicks sporting goods and got a bunch of LSU stuff. We are both big time College Football fans and that was fun too. We were than on to Simi Valley California to speak at the Simi Valley Rotary Club. Very fun... .spoke about my new book ... The Thinking Room... . It was the first time I spoke in public and the Rotarians loved my talk. They lined up to buy my book. I signed many books and that was very cool. WOW... the people really liked my book. I was buzzing all day with excitement. Then John and I went to my Country Club and enjoyed our afternoon with a couple of beers. We laughed and told stories. My book launch was at 6;00 pm and the more people came than expected. We had well over a hundred people in the room and I spoke again about my book. Once again people loved my talk... .the best part?... I signed books for one hour and thirty six minutes. I felt like a real pro author. it was very very cool. Everything went right on my perfect day. The best part is this My wife and family were all there. My friends came and so did my listners on my radio show. I will never forget my perfect day and I hope to have more. It is so wonderful to see a well design plan come together with all of my team there. On my special day I have to give super special THANKS to Anisa Delano and Scott Snyder. With out the love and support of these people my special day, would not have been special. Thanks... Coach
