Al Ries Plays Brand Association Games with Billy the Brain

I'm suffering from a bit of awe over my 4 o'clock guest today, Al Ries, a legendary marketing strategist, a bestselling author and originator of the concept of Positioning. Mr. Ries is celebrating 38 years since writing Positioning, The Battle For Your Mind.
We took several minutes to play word association games with famous brand names. I'd mention a brand and Mr. Ries would discuss the brand's positioning. It was fun.
What comes to mind when I mention the following brands: Coke, Pepsi, 7UP, Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota, Volvo, Google, Alta Vista, and Go To.com?
