Dan Roam, author of Unfolding the Napkin: The Hands-On Method for Solving Complex Problems with Simple Pictures, shared a top job interviewing tip while on THE BUSINESS OF LIFE radio program today.

Before the job interview, rehearse this simple trick. If you had the attention of someone in this company draw a picture of how you fit into the company and how you would add value.

The key is to draw a picture. The picture may be simple or complex, sophisticated or rudimentary, but whatever form the picture takes the interviewer will remember you because you will be the only candidate who draws pictures.
