Mitch Joel is one of the world's leading authorities on digital media. His book is titled Six Pixels of Separation—a clever play on the phrase six degrees of separation. During his visit on THE BUSINESS OF LIFE, he mentioned several important points about the importance of blogging. He says blogging is about Human Interest. It's an ongoing narration or, as he calls it, permission-based stalking. Blogging is for friends who are not too close (or else we'd be talking to them directly) and not too far away.
